Insurance and Financial Information
When you are first scheduled for treatment with us, you should make sure to meet with one of our financial counselors. We will discuss the course of treatment your physician has planned and its expected cost. As part of our process, we will contact your insurance company to be sure that your treatment is covered and to learn what your expected out-of-pocket costs will be.
Cancer treatment grows more expensive every year, due largely to the high cost of the chemotherapy drugs that are its primary component. We urge our patients to stay in touch with our financial counselors during their treatment. In particular, we will need to know immediately about any changes in your insurance coverage.
For your convenience, we accept 
at our front desk. We also accept a wide variety of insurance plans, both government and private.
Our goal is to help you understand your responsibilities and to manage the cost of your care. We do not want financial issues to get in the way of your relationship with your physician. For this reason, our physicians do not discuss financial arrangements; these matters are handled by others. You should be aware that providing cancer care involves considerable expense to our practice. We cannot remain open to serve you if we are unable to pay for the drugs we use, and the best way to manage the cost of your care is to keep us informed.
